That was QUITE a storm that rolled through our western Minneapolis area during the evening hours of July 15, 2019 with high winds and hailstones of over 3 inches! An estimated 36,000+ homes were in the zones with possible hailstone impact of sizes averaging 1-1.5" according to recent reports. The recipe for hail may not be over as high heat, and stormy conditions are expected to return to #MPLS again later this week. Delano Reports 3.5" Egg-size Hailstones

CBS 4 WWCO Weather Center's Chris Shaffer reported the hail storm's movement easterly, after hail hit the Delano area as part of the severe weather warning in his July 15th broadcast; Per the National Weather Service MPX.
